The Wooded Meadow
Set near a popular trade route between Thanalan and the Black Shroud, The Wooded Meadow is an eatery specializing in everything smoked, grilled, roasted, and occasionally burned. The parlor attracts all manner of visitors, from locals to travelers, explorers and adventurers, those who seek a place to fuel up and recover, might find that in this tucked away barbecue joint.Few would claim that the food served at the parlor is extraordinary, it certainly isn't gourmet by any standards. The parlor is no place for fine dining, what it serves, however, is comfort.The parlor is not the only thing that The Wooded Meadow offers, the new owner has decided to keep a taste of the previous business that used to be in its location.It might explain why as visitors make their way down the stairs of the building, they might find an entirely different atmosphere, a hint of what used to be.For more on what could be found:

Visitors can expect the following to always be on the menu:
| Flame Kissed Dodo: Grilled on an open flame, mostly unburnt, the apple wood is said to impart a unique sweetness to the Dodo that balances the flavor, roasted options available. |
| Smokin' Crab: Massive pieces of Megalocrab legs, smoked over Rosewood for 24 bells, which might explain why the flavor is so overpowering on the crab meat, still edible! |
| Taste of Mylodon: Mylodon tongue, boiled until tender, and grilled until slightly charred, the tongue of a Mylodon is known for its incredible size, enough to feed an entire tribe for half a moon. Perfect choice for sandwiches, or eaten as it is in the form of a steak. |
| Marinated Miacid: Meat from the deadly Miacid, all the way from Dravania, left overnight in a special Thavnairian marinade for a rich and slightly spicy flavor before being smoked. Served along with a spicy or mild barbecue sauce. |
| Parlor Jerky: Special option for those who wish to take a taste of the parlor outside. A bag of chewy and flavorful Dzo jerky, the strips are marinated then smoked to savory imperfection. Great for sharing with friends at any time, any place! |
| Hot Corn: Smoked tortilla chips, this tasty little crispy snack is not only double smoked before and after frying, but is also spiced to the hells and back, suitable for those who don't really need their tongues intact. Non-spicy variant available! |
| Root Stew: The only current no-meat option, this hodgepodge of tubers and wild mushrooms stew offers a mouth watering savory taste and mild sweetness. Can alternatively be grilled! |
| Branch's Signature Shake: A rolanberry milkshake, made with macerated rolanberries that are crushed then mixed with milk and ice crystals, cold and sweet! |

Hot Tubs and Sauna
On the corner of the parlor, visitors will find the second component of The Wooded Meadow. Stepping through the curtains, visitors are lead down to the remains of what appears to be a spa, which used to occupy the same building. A different hub of relaxation.While the main floor of said spa has been completely replaced by the new diner, the owner of The Wooded Meadow decided to keep some of those popular things that visitors are certain to enjoy, in the form of hot tubs and a sauna.If indulging in food is not the main goal, then there is always the reliable hot tub, all are welcome to partake in the steamy tubs of water for as long as they wish.Across from the hot tubs is the sauna room, perfect for health-conscious who prefer a more dry heat for their relaxation needs, visitors to the sauna are expected to follow the guidelines found in the changing room.

A sign hangs in the changing room, the following is written upon it:

| Usage of wet swimsuits in the sauna can be dangerous. |
| No jewelry or footwear should be worn inside. |
| Towels can be taken to the sauna for wearing, for any who might be uncomfortable with leaving their swimsuits. |
| Please make sure the sauna is clean before and after use. |
The Owner of The Wooded Meadow
Many would assume that such a place would require a great number of staff, but as guests enter The Wooded Meadow, they will instead be greeted by the one and only worker in the place.A hunter and a beastmaster, working not only to procure the necessary meats for the parlor, but also to feed the visitors. It's a one-woman operation, and that woman's name is Branch. For as long as someone remains in The Wooded Meadow, they are her guest.Pitmaster? No.
Chef? No.
Branch? Yes.She handles all from welcoming visitors to the cooking and serving. Despite not having the experience to carry her, one should not underestimate the effort she will put in to see her guests leave satisfied and happy.

So what is The Wooded Meadow?
- Simply put, it's a new roleplaying community hoping to offer a new space for off-hours people to hang out in the Crystal data center.
- Doesn't matter if it's a time zone difference or just a schedule difference, all are welcome!Because we all want a fun and comfortable place, some boundaries need to be set.That means the following is expected to be followed:
⬤ Both players and their characters must be over 18 years old, everyone deserves the assurance that the person they're interacting with is a legal adult.

⬤ Because we are a social RP community, everyone inside the in-game venue is expected to be in character, this means limiting OOC chatter to other chat modes such as /party and /tell, or the Discord channels.

⬤ The Wooded Meadow is also meant as a place for immersive roleplaying in the world and lore of the game, participating characters are expected to follow said lore. There are occasions where the game lore might need bending to accommodate unique writing and ideas, and that is completely okay, sensible 'head-canons' are very much welcome!

⬤ There is a major difference between in character drama and out of character drama, in regards to IC conflicts, there should be minimal disruption to other patrons, you don't know what others might be comfortable with unless it's agreed upon prior, so be sure to ask first.
If it's OOC however, it should remain completely private.
